The recent changes to the Washington State Legislature’s website to enable remote testimony, comment, and the ability to sign in “pro” or “con” on various legislation at long last makes it easier to remotely do this from home very quickly and simply. We produced a short six video to demonstrate. You can do this yourself in less time than it takes to watch this video, but feel free to use this as reference, if it is helpful.

This may seem like small ball, but it just another example of a relatively painless and simple way to make your voice heard. It may seem like they ignore us most of the time, but they do notice how many people do this. Just another example of what showing up looks like.
OUR CONSTITUTION BEGINS WITH THE PHRASE “WE THE PEOPLE.” IT WAS THE FOUNDERS’ INTENT THAT GOVERNMENT BE CREATED BY THE PEOPLE, TO SERVE THE PEOPLE. IT WASN’T THEIR INTENTION FOR THE PEOPLE TO SERVE THE GOVERNMENT. IT WAS ALWAYS INTENDED THAT GOVERNMENT WHICH FAILED TO SERVE THE PEOPLE SHOULD BE “ALTERED OR ABOLISHED.” UNTIL WE RETURN TO THE FOUNDER’S INTENT, WE REMAIN WE THE GOVERNED…

How can we get information to Trump administration regarding this bill? Can you help or do you have connections?

I have no special connections, but if you could share this article for critique and feedback, perhaps the right people, and more of them, will see it and if we are fortunate enough, perhaps more people can start to ask the same questions.
Hello Glen.
This was very useful. Please post more information like this.
Question for you. Is it acceptable to email all legislative members on both chambers regarding a particular bill, or am I supposed to email only the senator or legislative member in my area? And am I supposed to use the website only to send comments? What’s your take on this?
I’m asking this because I follow Tim Eyman and he usually tells us to send two separate mails to all members (one for each chamber).
Thank you!
Thank you for your response. I would email all legislators and senators any time you have an issue or comment with any piece of legislation.
I’m agnostic on whether you send independent ones or not. Most important to just get something on the record.
